Welcome To Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Damansara Jaya 2012.
Twenty three years ago, on the 3rd of January 1983, a new school was born. A school, like any other ordinary secondary school , its responsibilities were simple but complex – to guide and to teach the younger generation to succeed and to lead the nation in the future. Nobody doubted it’s abilities but nobody was completely sure whether it would succeed or not. Its name is SMKDJ (Damansara Jaya Secondary School).
All it had was 3 blocks, 6 classrooms, 24 teachers and a total of 189 students the first year it opened its doors to the public. Each year, the number of students in SMKDJ begin to increase dramatically. In the end, to solve the problems of the over crowding number of students in the school, two new blocks, Blocks D and E, were built in 1985.
